Later in life her passions were poker with her friends, along with going to the casino and hitting the slot machines. Judi worked for both Abbott Laboratories and Boeing before semi-retiring, working for Dillon's RV and Community Home Sales until she became ill. Bowling was a lifelong passion for her as she bowled in leagues at Bertrand Lanes and regularly participated in the Women's National Bowling Tournament. She went to school in Zion where she played basketball and when not in school she bowled regularly. Early on Judi was fortunate to have marched in the Rose Bowl and Orange Bowl parades as a baton twirler. She impacted many people and was most influential on her friends and family.īorn to Lincoln and Theal Palmer, she was the third of four children with siblings Harley, Joyce and Billy. Judi was born in Waukegan Illinois and from that point lived a very full and happy life.
